The Center for Reconstructive Foot Surgery serves as a referral center for patients with diabetic Charcot foot deformities. This condition, properly called Charcot neuroarthropathy, develops in patients with diabetes, and results in a foot that undergoes spontaneous fractures, severe deformities and ultimately, ulceration. Dr. Jolly has helped to pioneer the treatment of this condition through the use of circular external fixators.
